Q. If you could describe the company in one sentence? (Octopo is ___.)

A. OCTOPO is An effects laboratory
Because we are constantly learning and experimenting.

Q. What’s your ultimate work playlist?

A. “How Rappers Break Up”
I love old-school hip-hop. Hip-hop makes me want to dance…

Q. What’s a good day to work from home?

A. Always, haha... especially these days!!!
It’s just way too hot..........…

Q. What’s a good day to come into the office?

A. Maybe when I start a new project?
Because I always have a mountain of questions to ask my teammates.

Q. What kind of person would fit well at Octopo?

A. Someone who knows how to separate work and personal life
Someone who knows when to have fun and when to focus on work, while keeping a healthy boundary between the two, would probably have a great time working here.

Q. What makes you most proud to work here?

A. Without a doubt, working from home
I’ve only experienced it once so far, but not having to deal with the stress of commuting is honestly the best…

Q. When did you feel you grew the most after joining?

A. I think I’m still growing every day. (Just casually showing off that growth mindset.)
I keep getting opportunities to try things I had never done before. I may not have that many years of experience yet, but I still find myself realizing how much more there is to learn.

Q. What would you like to say to someone considering applying to Octopo?

A. Don’t worry about fitting in at the company~~!
Everyone here really helps you adjust, both with work and outside of work. As long as you do your best and keep up, I think you’ll be able to enjoy working here.

Q. Who helps create a healthy team atmosphere?

A. Won and Mean!
They are probably the people who have helped me the most. Whenever I get stuck while working, they somehow notice right away and step in to help, which makes me feel really reassured. My mentor and supporter are the best!

Q. Which emoji do you use most often on Slack?

It’s the one I often use when I’m feeling good—not overly excited, but just pleasantly happy.
