A. Octopo is a “collective of altruistic specialists” — with generals added to the mix.

Regardless of a product’s quality or success, you can’t achieve strong results (unless it’s a solo project) if you act individualistically and only pursue personal gain. For a project or product to truly succeed, it requires tremendous collective energy toward a shared goal. I believe the synergy between generalists and specialists, along with altruism among colleagues, is what creates that powerful energy.

A. Non-repetitive background music that someone else happens to put on.
