A. It’s a great company.

Out of all the companies I’ve worked at in my life, this one feels the best (I’m a newcomer).
Q. What’s your ultimate work playlist?
A. Game and animation OSTs.

I don’t only listen to OSTs, but when my ears feel tired or I want to focus calmly, OSTs are great. Lately, I’ve been working while listening to the OSTs of Hyouka and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.
Q. What’s a good day to work from home?
A. On days when I need to focus alone or want to use my time more flexibly.
•
It’s nice to work quietly, save commuting time, and have the flexibility to adjust my working hours in the evening.
Q. What’s a good day to come into the office?
A. A day when I want to put our heads together.
•
When I’m short on ideas or need input, I like gathering opinions and working collaboratively. I enjoy the usual team-working atmosphere, so honestly, I feel good coming into the office even on regular days instead of working remotely.
Q. What kind of person would fit well at Octopo?
A. Someone who can genuinely enjoy working at the company.
•
A person who doesn’t treat company work as just a job, but approaches it with enjoyment and responsibility.
Q. What makes you most proud to work here?
A. The company’s overall culture.
•
Both the work atmosphere and the overall company vibe are great. It’s harmonious, and there’s an environment where everyone works happily. I especially love that there are so many people I can learn from and grow alongside.
Q. When did you feel you grew the most after joining?
A. Every moment.
•
I’m learning and growing in every single moment.
Q. What would you like to say to someone considering applying to Octopo?
A. Don’t hesitate—just go for it.
•
My life is divided into before and after joining Octopo.
Q. Who helps create a healthy team atmosphere?
A. Everyone.
•
No one is left out—everyone works passionately, and when someone gets stuck, we all think it through together. I have such great teammates, which makes the work even more enjoyable.
Q. Which emoji do you use most often on Slack?
A. The emojis I made myself and reply emojis.
•
When there’s no need to leave a long message, reply emojis are perfect for quick responses. And when I see great work or feel unsure about leaving a comment, I tend to leave my own custom emoji as a small trace of appreciation.
